Every dot is a documented case of mob justice, wrongful accusation, vigilante violence or a rescue. Filter by state, type and verification status to see what is happening — and how the Foundation is responding.
Colour is the incident. Status is the evidence.
Each marker is placed at the town where a case was documented. The colour shows the type of incident; the status label tells you how far verification has gone — from a first report through review, verification and escalation, to a resolved case.
Received from a community member or partner; not yet checked.
Corroborated by at least two independent sources.
Field officers are gathering statements and evidence.
Intervention complete and case closed with follow-up.
Referred to police, state authorities or legal counsel.
SAFETY GUIDANCE
- Do not join or film a crowd attack — call the police (112) and move to a safe distance.
- If you are accused, ask loudly to be taken to the nearest police station; refuse to be moved elsewhere.
- Record names of witnesses and the exact location — it is the evidence that protects the accused later.
- Report the incident to the Foundation within 24 hours so legal aid can be mobilised.
Emergency line: 112 (national). The Foundation's helpline number is being finalised and will be published here.
